Friday, 18 February 2005The Bulgarian government is to announce cabinet reshuffle on Monday, February 21 at the regular Council of Ministers briefing.
Governmental spokesman Dimitar Tsonev broke the news Friday morning, though no further details were given.
Media have speculated that Deputy Prime Minister and Economy Minister Lidia Shuleva, as well as the ministers of Regional Development and Public Works Valentin Tserovski, of Interior Georgi Petkanov and of Culture Bozhidar Abrashev were likely to be dismissed from their ministerial chairs.
Bulgarian premier has so far appeared reluctant to reshuffle his cabinet, as general elections are regularly due in June. |
