Iraq: Two US Troops Killed as Indonesian Television Reporters Abducted

Two American troops were killed in separate attacks in the northern Iraqi city of Mosul, the US military said. A car bomb went off next to a US army patrol in the northern Iraqi city of Mosul, killing one soldier and injuring three on Thursday.

In a second attack on Thursday, a soldier was shot dead in an exchange of fire.



Meanwhile, two Indonesian television reporters were abducted by armed Iraqis in the western city of Ramadi on Tuesday, a government spokesman in Jakarta said on Friday.


The information regarding the abduction was received from the owner of a car rented by two journalists from Metro TV that on February 15.
