Friday, 18 February 2005The Al Badie National Group of Companies in a statement said it had signed a contract with the UAE Armed Forces for the provision of 40 tank carriers (8 by 8) at a cost of Dh130 million. One of Al Badie divisions deals with earthmoving equipment and their respective spare parts & after sales services as well as heavy duty vehicles in various configurations featuring many different applications. The group was established in 1967.
According to WAM, the announcement was made at the Abu Dhabi International Exhibition Centre on the sidelines of Idex 2005, ended Tursday. Some 28,000 military experts and visitors have attended the exhibition during the past four days. |
