Azerbaijan and Pakistan consider issue of direct flights

Cabinet Ministers of Azerbaijan has commissioned the country's departments to realize the decisions taken at the 3rd session of the Azerbaijan-Pakistan Intergovernmental Commission.

A Cabinet source said at the session held in Islamabad Feb.7 Pakistan offered to cooperate in the area of information technologies and construction of a range of sites in Azerbaijan.

"Among the other issues, the matter of direct flights is under consideration as well. Taking into account high level of terrorism threat in South Asia region this issue demands additional developmental work aimed at providing safety of flight and passengers," a Cabinet source said.
