PM Erdogan Arrives in Jordan for 2-day Visit

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has arrived in Jordan for a two-day visit at the invitation of Jordan King Abdullah.

Erdogan left Istanbul for Amman at 11:00 p.m. on Thursday and arrived in the Jordanian capital of Amman at 1:00 a.m.

Erdogan and the accompanying delegation were welcomed at the military airport in Amman by Jordanian Foreign Minister Abdulilah Khatub, Industry and Trade Minister Salem Khazaeleh and Turkish Ambassador to Amman Huseyin Dirioz.

An official state ceremony will be held to welcome Erdogan at the Jordanian Prime Ministry.

Turkish Minister of Industry and Trade Ali Coskun and a group of Turkish parliamentarians are also accompanying Erdogan during the visit.
