110 PKK Terrorists Surrendered in Past Month

110 members of the outlawed Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) have surrendered to the Turkish security forces in the last 30 days, a new Turkish security report states.

A total of 74 operations were held against the PKK terrorist organization in the past month. 116 kg of plastic explosives, 109 hand grenades, 13,000 bullets, 9 mines and 48 rifles were captured in the operations.

The report also added that 26 PKK members had been killed and 177 others were captured while 16 Turkish soldiers, 5 Turkish police officers and 2 village guards were killed in the same period.

According to the report, Turkey's neighboring countries Iran, Iraq and Syria returned 11 PKK members to Turkey during the same period, while the number of PKK members who surrendered to the Turkish authorities reached to 110.
