Thursday, 15 June 2006LONDON, June 15 (IranMania) - Two members of a small Iranian monarchist group spent Tuesday night on a ledge of the Arc de Triomphe in central Paris, after unfurling a banner condemning Russian and Chinese support for the Islamic regime's nuclear programme, AFP reported.
The two young men ended their protest late morning Wednesday and were taken away in a police van.
An associate said they belonged to Anjoman-e-Padeshahi, "Monarchist Parliament" in Iranian -- which supports a constitutional monarchy in Tehran.
