Iranian ambassador to Yemen Hossein Kamalian and Yemeni Minister for Social Welfare and Roads al-Krashmi in meeting in San'a Wednesday reviewed cooperation in housing and roads.

The Iranian embassy in Yemen reported that Kamalian referred to the expertise of Iranian firms in providing technical and engineering services including building roads and bridges.

He said the Iranian companies have solid experience in various international projects and expressed readiness of the companies to take investments in projects.

Al-Krashmi also welcomed participation of Iranian companies in infrastructure and development in his country.

The two sides also discussed implementation of already signed projects and cooperation in economy.

The two nations have varied cooperation in other fields. In May Kamalian and Yemeni Justice Minister Ghazi al-Aghbari in San'a reviewed avenues to bolster legal and judicial cooperation between the two countries.

Referring to historical and religious commonalities between the two nations, the Yemeni minister expressed hope that bilateral cooperation will boost in the near future.

He further called for expansion of ties among Arab and Islamic countries in different areas.

Al-Aghrabi further called for expansion of judicial affairs between the two countries, exchange of experts, setting up joint training courses, and holding judicial seminars.

Kamalian, for his part, briefed the Yemeni minister on the latest developments in Iran's judicial system following the victory of the 1979 Islamic Revolution.

He voiced Iran's readiness to promote cooperation with Yemen in different legal and judicial areas.
