Yugoslav War Crimes Tribunal Grants Karadzic 300 Hours |
19 September 2012Yugoslav war crimes tribunal has granted Radovan Karadzic 300 hours to present his defence, says its website.
Karadzic demanded 600 hours for this purpose, but the tribunal granted him the same number of hours which were used by the Prosecutors Office to present evidence of his guilty.
Karadzic who defends himself will start providing arguments on the 16th of October.
The former president of Serbian Bosnia-Herzegovina was on the run for 13 years until he was detained in Belgrade in 2008. He is accused of committing war crimes during the civil war in the former Yugoslavia between 1992-1995. |
