In Antwerp, Belgium, police arrested over 200 people as they were breaking up a crowd of angry protesters.
Some protesters have been injured. In Copenhagen, Denmark, Muslims staged a clamorous demonstration outside the US Embassy.
Islamic radicals are also instigating unrest in the Netherlands. Crowds of protesters have likewise gathered outside the US Embassy in London.
Meanwhile, protests in Africa and Asia keep gaining momentum by the day. University students took to the streets in Istanbul.
A crowd of protesters attempted to force their way to the US consulate in Karachi, Pakistan. Police used tear gas and water cannons, injuring several protesters.
Firing erupted during a Hyderabad demonstration, one person is reported killed.
Protests are also under way in Egypt, Yemen, Sudan, Tunisia, India and Nigeria.
