Turkish-Arab International Youth Congress |
14 September 2012The 1st Turkish-Arab Youth Congress at the Istanbul City University arranged by Youth Assembly of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IBB) and under media sponsorship of Anadolu Agency (AA) took start with the attendance of Turkish and foreign academics and journalists on Friday.
Holding the opening ceremony of the congress, AK Party's Istanbul MP, Bilal Macit, said, "Separated roads of Arab and Turkish worlds are put back together now. There are no more distances."
Rector of the Istanbul City University Professor Dr. Ahmet Ademoglu noted that congress bring young people together and prepares a platform to discuss future of global relations. |
