Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan is meeting with the head of Turkish intelligence, Hakan Fidan, in connection with the abduction by members of the terrorist Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) of Turkish MP Huseyn Aygun, the Sabah newspaper reported on Monday.
PKK militants kidnapped member of the Turkish parliament from the province of Tunceli, Huseyn Aygun.
According to the governor of the province, around 17:00 local time machine, which Aygun was in, was stopped by militants near the town of Ovadcik. The MP was kidnapped.
Together with the politician, his spokesman and correspondent of the Aksam newspaper were also abducted, who later were released.
Aygun is a deputy from the opposition Republican People's Party.
