President Nazarbayev to Visit Kyrgyzstan on Aug 22 |
13 August 2012President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev will pay a state visit to the Kyrgyz Republic on August 22 on the invitation of his counterpart Almazbek Atambayev.
Ilyas Omarov, Head of the Kazakh MFA's press service, told a Monday briefing.
"The top level meeting will focus on a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation in the political, commercial and economic, investment and cultural spheres. In line with the agenda, the third session of the Supreme Interstate Council is planned. At the session there will be discussed prospective directions of the Kazakh-Kyrgyz strategic partnership," I. Omarov said.
Upon results of the negotiations, the Jubilee Declaration on strategic partnership and allied relations between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Kyrgyz Republic dated to 20 years since establishing diplomatic ties and a number of other documents of mutual interest are to be signed.
In addition, the Days of Kazakhstan's Culture in Kyrgyzstan will be opened within the visit. |
