8 May 2012A 5.7-magnitude earthquake has hit Georgia at 08:40, Seismology Center Monitoring Center told InterpressNews .
The epicenter of the quake was in Dedoflistskaro, Kakheti region of Georgia. The earthquake was felt in the capital too.
Seismologists say the quake would not be able damage new buildings, though it could be dangerous for old buildings.
No information was spread about any damage yet.
