Uzbekistan, Tajikistan to Discuss Border Delimitation and Demarcation

A next meeting of the intergovernmental commission on delimitation and demarcation of the Uzbek-Tajik border will begin in Dushanbe on Tuesday, a source in Uzbek government told Trend.

According to the source, the Uzbek delegation will be headed by First Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Rustam Azimov.

The previous meeting of the intergovernmental commission on delimitation and demarcation of the Uzbek-Tajik border was held in Tashkent in April 2009.
So far, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan have coordinated more than 80 percent of the borders.
