Kazakh President's Visit to Germany Indicates an Entirely New Level of Partnership - German FM |

Wednesday, 8 February 2012Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev met with Guido Westerwelle, Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs of Germany, the Presidential press service told Kazinform.
The Kazakh President noted the relationship between the two countries were based on sincere friendship, mutual trust and practical cooperation. Germany continually supports initiatives of Kazakhstan aimed at strengthening peace and security. Kazakhstan welcomes the implementation of the EU Strategy for Central Asia, initiated by Germany. The successful cooperation between our countries in the multilateral diplomacy deserves special attention. Nursultan Nazarbayev expressed his gratitude for the support and consultative assistance provided by Germany during Kazakhstan's chairmanship of the OSCE.
In turn, Westerwelle said that Kazakhstan is an important political and economic partner of Germany in Central Asia. The visit of the Kazakh leader to Germany and the planned agreements in economic field indicate that our countries bring partnership to entirely new level, the Federal Minister said. |
