Kazakhstan Railways Increases Supply of Coal Due to Cold

Kazakhstan Railways sent more than 7, 3 million tons of coal to consumers in Kazakhstan in terms of 6.5 million tons or 12 percent more than planned in the period from January 1 to January 31, 2012, Kazakhstan Railways said on Monday.

"The loading of coal increased by 860,000 tons, or by 13 percent compared to the same period in 2011 Surplus to ensure coal is especially important due to the prolonged cold in much of the territory of Kazakhstan," Kazakhstan Railways said.
