Disagreements between Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) have lessened, Iran's Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi said, ISNA reported.
Speaking at the press conference, Salehi stressed that Iran's talks with IAEA experts on nuclear issue were "satisfying" and the first steps have been taken to reduce disputes. He added that the IAEA inspectors are supposed to revisit Iran by March.
Iran earlier described the talks as "constructive" and said further meetings were planned.
The senior United Nations nuclear inspectors went to Tehran on Saturday for talks with Iranian officials on the Islamic state's suspected atomic weapons program, and to try to advance efforts to resolve the nuclear row. Tehran says its nuclear activities are for peaceful electricity generation.
Salehi pointed out the agency is the only international authority for monitoring peaceful nuclear activities of the member states, so P5+1 is not considered as an authority to make comments.
He noted that time and venue for talks with P5+1 would be set after Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council Saeed Jalili's response to the EU's foreign policy Chief Catherine Ashton's letter.
Western diplomats have often accused Iran of using offers of dialogue as a stalling tactic while it presses ahead with its nuclear program, and say they doubt whether Tehran will show the kind of concrete cooperation the IAEA wants.
