Friday, 3 February 2012Minister of Foreign Affairs Yerzhan Kazykhanov has announced it after a meeting with EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton in Brussels.
"We consider that the European Union fully backs Kazakhstan in its development, As you know, in a statement by C.Ashton on the elections to the Kazakh Parliament the European Union expressed its satisfaction and striving for further development and expansion of strategic partnership," Y.Kazykhanov said.
As Kazinform informed earlier, following the results of the parliamentary elections in Kazakhstan EU High Representative Catherine Ashton welcomed establishment of the multi-party Parliament and confirmed the EU readiness to support our country towards democracy. |
