The Kazakh President ordered to strengthen the fight against corruption and "shadow" economy.
Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev has received Chairman of the Agency for Fighting Economic Crimes and Corruption Rashid Tusupbekov, the presidential press-service said today.
During the meeting, the President instructed the head of the financial police to strengthen the fight against corruption and "shadow" economy.
Tusupbekov reported on the current activity of the financial police to fight corruption and "shadow" economy.
President Nazarbayev said that the fight against corruption and economic crime is the main task set for the financial police. It is necessary to operate in this direction, in particular to strengthen the control over the use of funds allocated to implement the state programs.
"About 5,500 of revealed 8,000 corruption cases are economic," he said. "The entrepreneurs must not have the problems if they work honestly."
Moreover, the President instructed the financial police to protect the rights of small and medium businesses. |
