Wednesday, 1 February 2012Russian gas giant Gazprom saw third quarter 2011 net profit decrease three percent year-on-year to 155.625 billion rubles ($5.13 billion) to IFRS, the company said in a statement on Wednesday.
Earnings per share fell 4.8 percent to 6.62 rubles ($0.21).
Revenue grew 22 percent in July-September 2011 to 949.585 billion rubles. Operating profit jumped 66.5 percent to 328.035 billion rubles, while pre-tax profit decreased four percent to 199.857 billion rubles.
Gazprom's net profit in the first nine months of 2011 grew 41.3 percent to 940.827 billion rubles ($31.03 billion), while revenue in January-September last year rose 32.10 percent to 3.296 trillion rubles.
Revenue from gas sales in the first nine months of 2011 amounted to 1.987 trillion rubles, a 33 percent increase year-on-year.
Net debt grew 20 percent to 1.044 trillion rubles as of September 30, 2011 comparing with the end of 2010 due to new long-term borrowings, the dollar and euro exchange rate growth to the ruble and fewer monetary funds. |
