Kazakh Ombudsman's Office, OSCE ODIHR Promote Coop in Protection of Women's Rights |

Saturday, 28 January 2012Head of Kazakhstan National Center for Human Rights Vyacheslav Kalyuzhny met with Ajla Van Heel, Gender Officer at the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights.
The sides discussed cooperation between Kazakh Ombudsman's Office and OSCE/ODIHR in protection and promotion of women's rights and gender equality.
Ms. Ajla Van Heel was told about Kazakhstan's efforts in the field of protection of the rights of women, practice of cooperation with state bodies and civil sector, improving the gender legislation, cooperation with international human rights bodies.
The sides expressed common opinion about the need for further development of fruitful cooperation. |
