ANKARA (A.A) - Turkish dailies mostly covered in their Wednesday issues Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan's reaction to the French Senate, comments made by the French media on an Armenian bill adopted at the French Senate, and remarks made by Turkey's EU Minister Bagis.

Commenting on Prime Minister Erdogan's reaction to the French Senate, Hurriyet, Turkiye and Sabah dailies emphasized that the Armenian bill adopted by the French Senate on Monday was described as "null and void" by Erdogan. "The Armenian bill adopted at the French Senate is nothing but racism. It is an attempt to win votes over an enmity towards Turkey. The bill is unfair both to the French and European histories".

Dailies also highlighted the comments made by the French media on the Armenian bill adopted at the French Senate. According to Cumhuriyet daily, Le Parisien wrote that France was about to lose a "strategic partner". Communist L'Humanite indicated that Turkey would continuously make retaliation against France following the adoption of the Armenian bill at the French Senate.

Covering the remarks made by Turkey's Minister for European Union (EU) Affairs and Chief Negotiator, Egemen Bagis, in Munich, Turkiye daily quoted Bagis as saying "we are on our way to saving Europe. Turkey is more determined than ever today to enter the EU. Turkey will add strength to the EU. My country is on its way to save Europe".
