The Turkish and Georgian bus drivers finally permitted the forty-seven passengers-who were heading to Armenia's capital Yerevan from Istanbul, and who were stranded inside the bus, for nearly a day, at the Georgian side of the Armenia-Georgia border-to leave the bus and pick up their belongings, a passenger told Armenian News-NEWS.am. The passenger also informed that they will have to find their own way to charter another bus to arrive in Yerevan. The Turkish and Georgian bus drivers refused to drive further.

Armenia's Embassy in Georgia confirmed this information, too, adding that the passengers, who are presently at the neutral zone, must cross the Armenian-Georgian border with their belongings.

To note, the bus passengers were kept "hostages" by the Turkish and Georgian drivers because the latter had not received their salaries.
