Friday, 20 January 2012Estonia is ready to render Georgia assistance and make recommendations on its European integration, Ene Ergma, the speaker of the Estonian parliament, said during his four-day visit to Tbilisi.
The main topics of the Estonian delegation's discussion with Georgian officials will be forthcoming parliamentary elections in Georgia, Abkhazia and South Ossetia, and integration into Euro-Atlantic structures.
The Estonian MPs are scheduled to meet with President, chairman of parliament, the Georgiam officials said.
"Estonia supports a territorial integrity of Georgia on the international level," Ergma said. "Our presidents hold intensive meetings. The purpose of our visit is to get familiarized with situation in Georgia prior of parliamentary elections. We will discuss with the Georgian side issues of bilateral cooperation and prospects of their deepening." |
