Presidents of Belarus and Kazakhstan to Exchange Visits in 2012

The Presidents of Belarus and Kazakhstan are planning to exchange visits in 2012, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to Belarus Anatoly Smirnov told reporters, BelTA reported.

The diplomat informed that President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko is expected to visit Kazakhstan this year. Speakers of the two houses of Parliament are set to travel to Astana. The President of Kazakhstan and the Speaker of the Parliament of the country are expected to pay a visit to Minsk this year too, the Ambassador informed.

Anatoly Smirnov emphasized the importance of the forthcoming visits which are believed to help intensify bilateral links especially in trade and economy.
