Italy Reduces Iran Oil Import

According to data from Unione Petrolifera (UP), Italy has reduced its crude oil imports from Iran last October, while increased imports from Saudi Arabia ahead of tightening of international sanctions against Tehran, Reuters has reported. Crude oil imports from Iran fell to 783,200 tonnes in October from 1.06 million tonnes in September, the UP data showed. A ban on oil imports is expected to be agreed by the European Union on January 23.
