Observers from the Republican Network of Independent Monitors (RNIM) report numerous violations in the Kazakh parliamentary elections on Jan.15, the fund said on Tuesday.

The observers revealed violations such as dropping ballots in the ballot boxes, and "carousel" voting, when one family member votes instead of other members. They also noted restrictions of their movement in polling stations.

"In connection with this, the CEC and the prosecutor general should ensure an efficient investigation of all these violations," RNIM said.
