Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu will visit Azerbaijan in January, the Anadolu Agency quotes Turkish Foreign Ministry's spokesman Selcuk Unal as saying.

Unal said Davutoglu will visit Nakhchivan on Jan.17, where a trilateral meeting of Azerbaijan, Iran and Turkey's foreign ministers will be held.

An agreement to hold the meeting was reached during a meeting of the three countries' deputy ministers in Nakhchivan in November 2011. Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov represented Azerbaijan at the meeting. The meeting discussed issues of trade, industry, investment, transport, energy, tourism and culture.
