Iran's President Mahmud Ahmadinejad has arrived in Ecuador’s capital, Quito, for talks with President Rafael Correa on the fourth and last leg of his Latin American tour.

During Ahmadinejad's whistle-stop tour of Cuba, Nicaragua, and Venezuela, local leaders expressed support for the Islamic republic’s nuclear program.

All four Latin American countries have frosty ties with the United States, and their leaders have in the past years made visits to Tehran in order to build up diplomatic and business ties.
