Thursday, 12 January 2012Tajikistan's experts forecast active growth of the country's economy in 2012, Asia-Plus quotes Olimdjon Bobokalonov, deputy director of Tajikistan's centre for strategic studies as saying.
Bobokalonov said the GDP in Tajikistan will remain the same as of 2011.
The country's GDP in 2011 increased by 7 percent compared to 2010.
The forecasts on the economic growth of Tajikistan are connected with the development of energy sector, Bobokalonov believes.
Tajikistan's government is going to pay special attention to the development of the industrial sector in 2012, he said. Commissioning new factories of light and food industries is on schedule.
The country also plans to hold the prices of export goods, including cotton and aluminum on the same level, which will also impact the development of Tajikistan's economy, Bobokalonov added. |
