JICA President Awarded 20th Anniversary of Independence of Kazakhstan Medal |

Wednesday, 11 January 2012In Tokyo Kazakh Ambassador Akylbek Kamaldinov awarded president of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Sadako Ogata the commemorative medal "20th anniversary of independence of Kazakhstan", the Kazakh MFA's press service said.
"This award speaks for the Government and Kazakhstan's people appreciation of the Agency's great contribution to the implementation of important infrastructure projects and socioeconomic reforms at the dawn of the independence of Kazakhstan and strengthening of friendly relations between the countries."
In turn, Sadako Ogata expressed gratitude for the high award and highly appreciated Kazakhstan's success achieved for the years of independence under the chairmanship of President Nursultan Nazarbayev emphasizing the leading role of Kazakhstan in ensuring stability and security in Central Asia. |
