Congress of Azerbaijanis in Sweden Discussed Cooperation against the Armenian Falsifications with the Turkish Diaspora

On Sunday, representatives of the Congress of Azerbaijanis in Sweden, headed by Chairman Emil Mirzayev participated at the meeting of the Turkish diaspora in Stockholm.

The main topic of discussion was cooperation between the two Turkic diasporas in the fight against the European Parliaments' resolution on the so-called "Armenian genocide".

According to the chairman of CAS, strengthening cooperation between the two diasporas will become the impetus for a fruitful action against the spread of Armenian lies and false facts about the events of 1915 in European countries.

The meeting was held against the backdrop of a law in the French Senate on the application of legal measures and penalizing those who deny the fact of "genocide."

Rath has also expressed support for the participation of upcoming events marking the second anniversary of the Swedish parliament - Riksdag, the resolution recognizes the "genocide" against the Christian population of the Ottoman Empire, including the Armenians.

Members of the cereals and representatives of the Turkish Cultural Center made a proposal to convene a scientific commission, consisting of European historians, who will evaluate the events of 1915. The Congress of Azerbaijanis in Sweden, offered his support and assistance in collecting the necessary information and historical materials relating to the period of the First World War.

At the end of the meeting it was decided that a joint statement to the rest of Turkey and the Turkic diasporas in Europe to strengthen cooperation in this regard.
