Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov discharged Turkmengaz state concern's head Amanali Khanaliyev for job failures at the government meeting, Turkmenistan media reported.

Berdymukhammedov stressed that the chairman of Turkmengaz is discharged due to the weakened control of the jurisdictional enterprises. This fact was revealed due to checks carried out by the Turkmenistan's High Control Chamber and General Prosecutor's office.

Egeleyev Akmirat, the former chairman of "Turkmennebitgasqurlushik" state concern was appointed as the head of Turkmengaz.
