German Experts to Share Knowledge in Logistics |

Thursday, 5 January 2012The Association for Development of Business Logistics (Uzbekistan) and LMBG mbH Company (Germany) in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, Tashkent Road Transport Institute (TRTI), Tashkent State University of Economics (TSUE) and the German Foundation for Economic Development and Professional Learning SEQUA GmbH launched a new project "Training and skills development of professionals of companies and educational institutions teachers to basics and modern methods of logistics".
The following are objectives of this project:
• Organization of training courses for national coaches of logistics in the field of transport, information and warehouse logistics on the basis of European experience;
• Training of national trainers in the field of transport, information and warehouse logistics in Germany and Uzbekistan;
• Creation of an advisory center for logistics companies, logistics providers, as well as for secondary and higher educational institutions of the country;
• Development and publication of curricula and teaching materials on logistics;
• Spreading the knowledge gained by national trainers;
• Preparation of each participant's transfer project for the development of their organization.
As part of the first phase of the project, participants will pass a four-week English language training (on specialty) in Uzbekistan, followed by a four-month training practices in Germany, where students will become familiar with modern methods of work in German companies in the field of logistics. Then participants will return to Uzbekistan for further four-month training under the guidance of experts.
The second phase of the project includes the joint development with TRTI and TSUE of training programs on logistics, training seminars on logistics, as well as TRTI and TSUE teachers training for further self-study students. In addition, it is planned to create and organize the Logistics Advisory Center.
Project implementation period is 24 months. |
