Tajik President Makes Reshuffle

Tajik President Emomali Rahmon made several staff changes, Asia-Plus reported.

Ramazon Rahimov has replaced Abdurahim Kahharov as the country's Interior Minister. Former Interior Minister Kahharov will serve as Tajikistan's Security Council head.

President Rahmon has appointed Matlubkhon Davlatov as the first Deputy Prime Minister. Bakhtiyor Khudoerov replaced him as Tajik President's Executive Office's head.

Rahmonali Rahimov, former First Deputy Agriculture Minister, has been appointed as the Governor of the Isfara city in Sughd Province, replacing Subhoniddin Ashourov. Ashourov took another post.

Khaibullo Latifov, who previously served as the Chairman of the Emergency Situations Committee, has been appointed as Deputy Secretary of Security Council.

Azimboy Azizov has been appointed acting Chairman of the Asht District in Sughd Province, replacing Abdujamil Sattorov.

Rukhsora Karimkhoujayeva has been appointed as Governor of the Chkalovsk city in Sughd Province, replacing Shavkat Boboyev. Boboyev has been appointed as Head of the Energy and Industries Department at President's Executive Office.

Zulfiya Uzoqova has been dismissed as Governor of the Spitamen District in Sughd Province due to transfer to another job.

Amonjon Eshonqulov, former First Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Investments and State-owned Property Management, has been appointed as Deputy Head of the Department for Humanitarian Cooperation, General Political and Social Problems - Head of the Department for humanitarian Cooperation, Education and Science at the CIS Executive Committee.

Director General of Open Joint-Stock Company (OJSC) "Khimzavod" (chemical plant) has retired. Dilshod Rasoulov replaced him in this post.
