Turkey Welcomes Kosovo-Serbia Free Movement Deal

ANKARA (A.A) - Turkey welcomed the free movement deal which has started to be applied between Serbia and Kosovo.

Releasing a statement on Wednesday, Turkish Foreign Ministry recalled that officials agreed on the deal within the scope of Pristina-Belgrade dialogue in July, and expressed pleasure that the deal was put into effect as of December 26, 2011.

The ministry expressed hope that all agreements, which had been reached within the scope of the dialogue, would be put into effect without delay.

Turkey encourages all steps which will contribute in boosting contacts and commerce between the two countries, said the statement, adding that Turkey strongly supported Pristina-Belgrade dialogue process which would strengthen peace and stability in Balkans.
