The amount of money in circulation was down on Tuesday.
Turkish Central Bank data, released on Wednesday, showed that the volume of Turkish banknotes in circulation decreased 711.1 million Turkish liras to 54.9 billion TL on Tuesday.
The bank said money in circulation was 55.6 billion TL on Monday. (One USD is 1.8780 TL)
