Azerbaijani President Awarded by Serbian Foundation

The Serbian Foundation "Ana and Vlade Divac" has awarded President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev with the "Worthy friend of Balkans" award for his direct support, care, attention and special services in implementation of some important humanitarian projects in Balkan states, a representative of Azerbaijani Embassy in Serbia told Trend.

According to the decision of the Foundation, President Ilham Aliyev has been awarded with the "Worthy friend of Balkans" award for his contribution to comprehensive development of Azerbaijan-Balkan states relationship, special services in deepening relations between peoples of Azerbaijan and Balkan states, contribution to various cultures` becoming closer and religious tolerance.
