The prosecutor's office of Almaty denies allegations of arrest the agitators of the Communist People's Party and other political parties on Friday, said in the prosecutor office's report.

The web-site of the Communist People's Party of Kazakhstan distributed the information on the detention of forty agitators of the party for violations of election legislation by the police in Almaty on December 16.

The reliability of the above information has been verified by the Department of the Interior and the prosecutor's office, said in a statement.

It is established that on the statements of the residents of Bostandyk district police checked documents of a single agitator, who was gluing campaign materials in the area on December 16. There were no measures, including the detention of the person, the report said.

In this context, the prosecutor's office of Almaty declares that the above information does not correspond to reality and is obvious disinformation.
