Friday, 16 December 2011Armenia will commence with EU the high-level talks on Association Agreement, in all probability next year, Minister of Economy Tigran Davtyan stated Friday, during the discussion, in the capital Yerevan and with donor organizations, on the Comprehensive Institution Building (CIB) Program for Armenia's state governance agencies, News.am reported.
He also noted that preparations for this Agreement were carried out very swiftly, and that Armenia carried out several legislative and structural reforms.
To note, EU's Eastern Partnership Project assumes a greater degree of political integration, and long-term goals toward integrating with EU economy. And along the lines of this partnership, greater financial assistance will be provided to EU's neighboring countries.
The Association Agreement includes a comprehensive free trade agreement, and EU will allocate 32 million Euros to Armenia, from 2011 to 2013, to implement reforms in the country's state governance agencies. |
