Parliament Adopts Law "On National Security of Kazakhstan"

The Kazakh Senate has adopted the Law "On the national security of the Republic of Kazakhstan" at a plenary session.

"The bill is aimed at strengthening the system of the national security, bringing to a new level of counteraction to the modern challenges and threats," Deputy Chairman of the Kazakh National Security Committee Gusman Amrin said introducing the draft Law.

According to him, the bill specifies priorities of the national security in the information sphere, and instability of the financial system was defined as a main threat in the economic security.
