Kazakh CEC Completed Registration of 386 Majilis Candidates |

Wednesday, 14 December 2011Today the Kazakh Central Election Committee has registered the lists of candidates for Rukhaniyat Party and Communist People's Party of Kazakhstan.
"Besides, the CEC took a decision to withdraw three candidates from the party list of Ak Zhol Democratic Party of Kazakhstan in view of their ineligibility to Constitution and constitutional law on elections," CEC secretary Bakhyt Meldehsev said.
According to him, the CEC registered all eight parties that announced their intention to run for Majilis seats. The election is set for January 15. 386 candidates for the deputies of the Kazakh Majilis have been registered.
