5 Kids Suffered CO Poisoning in Astana

Five children and a woman survived carbon monoxide poisoning in Astana. The accidents occurred late at night on Wednesday and early Thursday, the press service of the Kazakh Emergencies Ministry reports.

A 38-year-old woman with her three children aged 2, 12 and 15 were taken to hospital for CO poisoning caused by solid fuel furnace heating failure in a private house in Ondiris residential area.

The similar incident caused CO poisoning in a newborn and 6-year-old child in Yessil district of Astana city. The children were taken to hospital.
