UN Special Representative Jan Kubiš awarded "20th anniversary of independence of Kazakhstan" medal |

Friday, 9 December 2011Kazakh Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Kairat Umarov has held a bilateral meeting with Jan Kubiš, UN Under-Secretary-General and Executive Secretary of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe, in Geneva.
As the press release of the Kazakh MFA reports, the Kazakh diplomat congratulated him on new appointment Special Representative of UN Secretary-General, the head of the UN mission in Afghanistan.
K.Umarov stressed active cooperation of Kazakhstan with the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe.
At the meeting K.Umarov handed over to Jan Kubiš a jubilee medal "20th anniversary of independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan" for great contribution in development of relations of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe with Kazakhstan. |
