Friday, 9 December 2011On December 5, 2011 at the Legislative Chamber was held an enlarged meeting of the deputy group of the Ecological Movement of Uzbekistan, where the report on the execution of the State Budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the first 9 months of this year, included for discussion by the next meeting of the lower chamber of the Oliy Majlis was preliminarily considered. It was attended by deputies, heads of ministries and departments, representatives of the mass media, press service of Oliy Majlis reports.
It was noted that the implementation of key priorities of the program of socio-economic development of the country in 2011, defined by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov at the meeting of the Government of the Republic on January 21 this year, contributed to sustainable economic growth and macroeconomic stability. The rate of growth of gross domestic product during the reporting period amounted to 8.2%, volume of production of industrial output - 7%, agriculture – 6.8%.
Deputies noted with satisfaction that during this time 1,599.8 billion sums were directed for the development of healthcare, or 23.1% of total expenditure on social sphere, 490.7 billion sums of them were allocated for outpatient services, on hospital services and specialized clinics – 938.4 billion sums, for other health services – 114.1 billion sums. As part of realization of "Health-2" project in order to strengthen and reform the primary healthcare system 822.0 billion sums were allocated from the state budget, 938.6 billion sums were allocated for the improvement of the system of maternal and child health protection, strengthening the material-technical base of obstetric institutions, hematology service.
Expenditures from the State budget for environmental protection for the 9 months of 2011 amounted to 57.1 billion sums, of which 21.3 billion sums were allocated for the protection of biodiversity and landscape, the protection of animals and plants, prevention of infectious diseases – 23.5 billion sums, the organization of waste collection and disposal – 3.0 billion sums, for removal and cleaning of waste water – 6.6 billion sums, other costs related with environmental protection – 2.7 billion sums.
Along with this program of further improving the provision of rural settlements with water 34.5 billion sums were funded. Expenditures for improvement amounted to 220.4 billion sums, including: for the improvement of rural settlements, road maintenance and local support infrastructure of cities, towns and districts – 146.4 billion sums, for the maintenance of local motorways – 53.8 billion sums, street lighting – 20.2 billion sums. As a result of adopted additional measures on development of housing for the first 9 months of this year in the whole country from all the sources 7,400.7 thousand square meters of housing were introduced, including 5,775 million square meters - in the countryside. Entry of 2,194.2 square meters of water supply systems, including those in rural areas – 1,934 km was implemented.
Participants of the meeting paid special attention to the facts of detected thefts, shortages and earmarked spending by ministries and agencies for the first 9 months of 2011.
After discussing the proposals and opinions of deputies on the discussed issues, the deputy group of the Ecological Movement of Uzbekistan took an appropriate decision. |
