Turkey Makes Half of its Automotive Exports to 5 EU Countries |

Thursday, 8 December 2011BURSA (A.A) - Turkey made half of its overall automotive exports to five European Union (EU) member states in the first 11 months of 2011.
According to figures of Turkish Exporters' Assembly (TIM), Turkey exported almost half of its automotive production to five EU member states, including Germany, France, Italy, Britain and Spain.
Turkey's overall exports in the mentioned period reached 18.6 billion USD. The five EU states had 9.3 billion USD share in overall automotive exports.
Turkey made the rest of its automotive exports to 158 countries.
The highest rise in Turkey's automotive exports year-on-year in the first 11 months was with Germany. Turkey's automotive exports to Germany were up 28.4 percent and reached 2.7 billion USD.
