Monday, 5 December 2011Senior PLO official Hanan Ashrawi met with Spanish officials on a visit to the European country, a PLO statement said Sunday.
Ashrawi met with the former prime minister and foreign minister of Spain, and the newly elected government, to discuss the situation in Palestine and bilateral relations between the countries, the statement said.
She delivered a lecture on Palestinian women's role in enduring occupation and maintaining Palestinian identity to a conference on women in politics in Spanish city Seville, the statement added. |
