It is reported that a monument to the 40th U.S. president Ronald Reagan will be opened today in the center of Tbilisi at Rika Square. On the pedestal, there is famous saying by Ronald Reagan in English and Georgian languages: "Freedom is to take care of all generations". It is noted that the opening of the monument is also dated to the 20th anniversary of the collapse of the Soviet Union.
In addition, the Reagan Freedom Center will be opened in Tbilisi, which will be the first center outside the United States, which is officially named after President Ronald Reagan and which will function as an official partner of the presidential fund. |
