World powers led by the United States are expected to submit a resolution expressing concern on Iran's atomic activities at a two-day IAEA meeting starting Thursday.

The board of governors meeting, consisting of 35 nations, will vote on the resolution and most likely ask IAEA chief Yukiya Amano to report back on the issue at the next board meeting in March.

The United States, France, Germany, and the UK have been wrangling with China and Russia over the content of the resolution, which is not expected to refer Iran to the Security Council for censure over its nuclear activities.
